The Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend
BERE PENINSULA PLATINUM JUBILEE WEEKEND
2nd – 5th JUNE 2022
Here on the Bere Peninsula preparations for the Queens Jubilee are already well in hand. The Bere Peninsula Platinum Jubilee Group, (a sub-group of the Parish Council),are co-ordinatinga full schedule ofactivities over the national four days of Bank Holidays, Thursday June 2nd to Sunday June 5th. A wide variety of Peninsula groups and organisations are planning events so the whole community can join in the festivities.
Bere Alston In Bloom Group are planting a Union Jack flower bed and a skeleton of a crown planted in Flowers .
The Flower Show Committee, Bere Ferrers are designing flower displays around the village.
We are all encouraged to plant seeds to grow red, white, and blue flowers in our gardens.
